What is Bubble Wrap?

Bubblewrap is a flexible transparent plastic material used to package and protect fragile items.

It is made from a multi layered plastic with air bubbles inserted during production that ensures a protective layer for packaging fragile goods.

The bubbles that provide the cushioning for fragile or sensitive objects are available in different sizes usually 10mm or 20mm Bubble size.

Depending on the size and type of the object being packed, as well as the level of cushioning protection that is needed.

Several  layers might be needed to provide shock and vibration protection.

A single layer might be used just as a surface protective layer.

Bubble wrap is also used to form some types of mailing envelopes to provide extra protection.
