The next alternative, Cellophane - BOPP, Biaxially-Oriented Polypropylene.

It is polypropylene biaxially stretched to cellophane thickness & transparency.

Natural cellophane & cellophane - BOPP both consist similar properties and are essentially interchangeable.

Yet natural cellophane is biodegradable and cellophane - BOPP is recyclable.
